Situated in the heart of Llanthony, just a five minute walk from the majestic Llanthony Priory, Treats guarantees you a warm welcome, whether you are wanting a cup of tea , a bed for the night or directions to the nearest footpath.

A little about Sue.
Although born and brought up in Wales, it wasn’t until 1987 that Sue discovered the Llanthony Valley following a chance encounter with Trevor Powell, of Trevelog Pony Trekking, at St.Fagin’s Museum of Rural Life ,where Trevor was giving carriage rides. In October of that year Sue returned to Wales with a friend for a riding weekend, closely followed by another weekend in the November, so beginning a regular commute from Essex where Sue was living and working as a teacher in order to ride the beautiful hills and valleys.

In 1997 Sue was able to leave Essex and return to Wales, to the Llanthony Valley she had come to think of as home, taking a job as a college lecturer in Hereford until, in October 2011, she was lucky enough to be able to take voluntary redundancy and develop ’Treats’.
